Political Ads & Election Integrity

Poli-line is built for people who work in politics, so political speech is expected here. These rules keep it transparent and honest. Paid and promoted content • Only organization pages can promote posts. Promoted posts are always labeled "Promoted." • Campaign and PAC pages must show a "Paid for by" disclaimer, and it appears on every promoted post from that page. • Poli-line does not process political contributions. Donate buttons link to the campaign's own external platform. • Advertisers are responsible for complying with election law, including FEC and state disclaimer rules. Verified accounts • A check mark means Poli-line confirmed the person or organization is who they say they are. • The Official badge is reserved for verified elected officials and candidates. • Check marks and Official badges are granted only after review — they are never sold and don't mean Poli-line endorses anyone's views. • Premium, Presidential and Corporation badges show a paid membership or page plan. They are not verification. Misinformation We don't allow content that: • Misleads people about when, where or how to vote or register, or who is eligible. • Impersonates a candidate, official, campaign or election authority. • Uses manipulated or synthetic media to deceive people about what a real person said or did. • Falsely claims to be official election results. Anyone can report a post, comment, message or profile. Reports go to our moderation team, which may remove content and warn, suspend or ban accounts under the Community Guidelines. You can appeal any decision from the notice you receive. What we don't do • We don't rank or hide posts based on which candidate or position they support. • We don't sell your data or use your political activity to target ads.
